弱势群体不仅是经济意义上的,更是文化意义上的。公共图书馆的性质、原则、职能、人文精神、发展趋势决定了为弱势群体提供知识、信息服务是其基本工作内容。本文从六个方面探讨了为弱势群体开展服务的具体举措。

Weak group here is defined not only in economic sense but also in cultural sense.Serv- ing weak group users with knowledge and information is the main duty of public libraries due to their na- ture,principle,function,culture and trend of development.This paper discusses specific measures for weak group service in six aspects.
