Business support service is a hot subject among libraries in Japan in the current.The pa- per presents a systematic analysis into the idea,pattern and organization of the activity.And at the same time it discusses the possibility of providing corresponding information service——business support by do- mestic public libraries for the sake of development of medium to small scale enterprises,starting under- takings for graduates from every level of schools,and re-employment of weak social stratum like the laid -off workers.
