Be Alert to the Traps on the Approach to the Financial Liberalization

认为金融自由化虽然是发展中国家融入世界经济体系的必要历程,但必须辩证地看待。在金融自由化进程中,可能会遇到许多陷阱,这主要包括:国家主权让渡的陷阱,财政能力弱化的陷阱,金融自由化进程无序的陷阱,金融监管滞后的陷阱,过渡依赖外资的陷阱以及银行体系脆弱性的陷阱等。东南亚等国的金融危机,就是这些陷阱所致。所以,正确认识这些陷阱的存在与危害性,对于即将踏上金融自由化之路的我国来讲,有着非常重要的理论与现实意义。

Although financial liberalization is the necessary way for the developing countries to melt into the world economic, care is needed. There are many traps on the way to financial liberalization, which mainly include: the trap of national sovereign transform, the trap of weakening the financial abilities, the trap of outoforder liberalization, the trap of financial supervision lag, the trap of foreign investment dependence and the trap of frailty bank system. The Financial Crisis of SouthEast Asia was caused by those traps. Therefore, recognizing the existence and the danger of those traps is most important to China who is to liberate her finance.
