自学是函授学的主要环节,是最基本的学习形式.本文分析了自学环节的现状,在理论和实践的基础上,提出了提高函授自学质量的途径.即:抓好函授生的思想教育工作,使其自学变得更加自觉;加强函授自学中各个环节的组织工作,积极引导函授生自学;严格面授和考试管理,改革考试模式,促进函授生自学.

Self-learning is the basic practice and an import ant form in correspondence courses. Combining theory with practice, this paper a na lyzes the present state of self-learning and proposes ways to improving its qual i ty. Specially,emphasis skould be put on the students' conscious learning, organ ization work of self-edueation sressed, and classroom teaching and examination a dministration strengthened with strict rules and assesement pattern reforms.
