师夷长技以制夷——中国零售业发展的理性思考

Learning from Foreigners to Cope with Them——A rational reflection on Chinese retail industry development

随着中国对外开放程度的日益加大,越来越多的外资零售企业进入到中国的消费市场,使中国零售业面临激烈的竞争与挑战。古语云:"师夷长技以制夷",中国零售业可以借鉴国外零售业的成功秘诀来迎接他们的挑战,加快自身的改革与发展。从这一角度出发,在深入剖析了中国零售业发展中存在的诸多问题之后,对其今后的进一步发展提出了一些建议。

With China's more and more openings to the outside world, more and more foreign-fund retail enterprises have an access to the consumption markets of China, which makes Chinese retail industry facing with more intensive competitions and challenges. There is an old saying in China: Learn from the foreigners to cope with them. So Chinese retail industry can draw lessons from the successful secret solutions of the foreign retail industry to meet their challenges and accelerate their own development. From this eyesight and after intensively analyzing problems existing in the development of Chinese retail industry, some suggestions are put forward in this paper about the further development of Chinese retail industry.
