In this paper ,design, operation and defect of rectangular sedimentation tank were evaluated comprehensively. The rational of modification rectangular sedimentation tank with tube or Lamella separa-tor was discussed. Key design parameters of the combination was also presented to improve operation effi-ciency and water quality.
