Synthesis and property study on N-alkyl imidazole hydrochloride

摘要 Acrylonitrile was additioned with imidazole to prepare 1(βcyanoethyl)imidazole.Elimination reaction was then conducted with bromohydrocarbon to get Nalkyl imidazole.Target product was gained by neutralizing above intermediate product with HCl.Total yield was over 90%.Property studies showed Ndodecanyl imidazole hydrochloride had the best comprehensive quality.HLB value was 12.Mean stability in hard water was grade 5.Wetting ability was similar with hexadecanyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and peregalo.The product had low foaming capability,good dispersing force and emulsifying ability.
