摘要
ABR业务的流量控制是一种基于反馈的闭环控制,它对于需要确保业务质量的ATM网络来说至关重要。由于基于反馈,ABR信源必须知道网络的瞬时未用带宽,以动态调整发送速率。通过对三类算法各自的性能及改进作公平性、稳定性和有效性等重点分析后,提出了传统的算法面临的问题及解决途径,为设计高速ATM交换机提供了有益的参考。
Flow control of ABR service,based on closelooped feedback,plays a crucial role in ATM networks to ensure Quality of Service(QoS).Being based on feedback,ABR sources should get to know the instantaneous remained bandwidth to adjust cellsending rate dynamically.The performance and improvement of three algoithms,especially fairness,stabilization and effectiveness,are analyzed.Then the questions that traditional algorithms confronted with and the responding solutions are proposed,which is a useful reference to the design of highspeed ATM swithch.
