摘要 光子晶体是一种新型功能材料,其最基本的特征是具有光子频率带隙,频率落在带隙内的电磁波被禁止在光子晶体中传播。文章介绍了光子晶体的基本性质和制备方法,以及结构无序对光子晶体带隙产生的影响,并对光子晶体的应用前景给予了简短的评述。 Photonic crystals are a novel type of optic functional material. This kind of periodically dielectric structure exhibits many important properties, such as photonic band gaps(PBG),in which the propagation of electromagnetic waves with certain frequency are forbidden. In this paper,the main features, main fabrication methods and the effect of disorder on photonic band gaps are introduced. The application prospect of photonic crystals in future are discussed.
