A study on the instructional models in modern and open distance education in the underdeveloped areas is constructing different instructional models which can suit the development of open distance education in unevenly - developed economical areas and meet the need of education based on the computer network platform. The paper shows the fact that computers haven t been popularized among the students in the underdeveloped areas and proposes the instructional models that accord with the requirement of the learners in these areas.
