Quadratic Boundary Element Method and its Application

本文简述了边界元法的基本理论,介绍了自编的二次边界元法计算程序,探讨了用该方法解决问题的可行性与准确性,计算了大坝孔口应力问题.计算实践表明:二次边界元法有广阔的应用范围及较高的计算精度,且计算准备工作简单,方便易行,程序可在水电工程中推广使用.

The basic theory of the quadratic boundary element method is outlined and a com-puter program on for this method is proposed in this paper. Furthermore, the feasibility and accuracy of this method in application is also discussed. The calculation of stress around the opening of a dam by the program indicates that the quadratic boundary element method has a wide range of applications with high precision.
