THE APPLICATION OF THE SECONDARY STRUCTURE OF RNA IN THE STUDY OF MOLECULAR SYSTEMATIC ZOOLOGY

摘要 作为一类重要的信息和功能分子 ,RNA在分子系统学研究中有着特殊的重要作用。RNA除了其一级结构以外 ,其二级结构亦可用于同源性比较。由于高级结构与功能的关系更为密切 ,比较的结果可以揭示一些在一级结构比较中难以发现的现象。 As a group of information and functional molecules, RNA has its special applicable value in the study of molecular systematics. Besides the sequences, the secondary structure of RNA can also be utilized in the comparison of homology and phylogenetic analysis. Compared to the primary structure, the advanced structure has closer affiliation with function. As a results, the comparison of the secondary structures may expose some phenomena which ones can not otherwise be revealed by the study of RNA or rDNA sequences.
