长白山地区蚱属一新种(直翅目,蚱总科)

A NEW SPECIES OF TETRIX FROM THE CHANGBAI MOUNTAIN AREA, CHINA (ORTHOPTERA, TETRIGOIDEA)

报道采自长白山地区蚱属昆虫一新种 ,长白山蚱Tetrixchangbaishanensissp.nov.。模式标本保存在东北师范大学生命科学学院动物标本室。

A new species of Tetrix Latreille from the Changbai Mountains, namely Tetrix changbaishanensis sp. nov., is described. The type specimens are deposited in the School of Life Sciences, Northeast Normal University.1 Tetrix changbaishanensis sp. nov. Male. Size small, with fine tubercle. Head not projecting above pronotum. Vertex slightly projecting beyond the leading edge of compound eyes; its width 1.27 times broader than the width of one eye, leading edge of vertex slightly curved, median carina obvious, and extending to occiput; lateral carinae in vertex obvious, the lateral folded at the back forming a groove-shape with median carina. Frontal costa forms a broad circular shape with vertex in profile, projecting between antenna as arc shape, no concavity in the area of lateral ocelli; fronts nearly perpendicular, longitudinal furrow obvious, width of frontal ridge between antenna nearly equal to the width of scape. Lateral ocelli between the middle of compound eyes of the inner part and under the branch of frontal costa. Compound eyes globose and prominent. Antenna filiform, 14 segments, inserted between lower margins of eyes; length 3.5 times width of the middle part (the eighth segment), length of antenna 1.7 times length of anterior femur. Anterior and middle femur flat, upper edge arched and lower edge nearly straight or slightly wave-shaped; width of middle femur slightly broader than the width of visible part of fore-wing. Anterior edge of pronotom flat and straight, lateral lobes of pronotum with two concavities, posterior angle circular shaped; posterior pronotal process wedge-shaped, slightly surpassing the end of the posterior femur. Fore-wing egg-shaped, wing developed, obviously surpassing the end of posterior pronotal process. Posterior femur stout, 2.8 times longer than width; superior carinae with small teeth; antegenicular denticles acute or right angled; the apex of kneelobe circular shaped. The first knot longer than the third; three pulvilli beneath it, the third one obviously bigger than the first and the second. Subgenital plate triangle-shaped, its length slightly longer than width, obvious concavity in the apical part. Body color yellowish-brown. Wing blackish-brown. ♂. Length of body 8.88-10.02mm; length of pronotum 8.54-8.76mm; length of posterior femur ♂5.62-5.82mm. Female: unknown. This new species is similar to Tetrix kunmingensis Zheng et Ou, but can be distinguished from the latter by: 1) length of the male antenna 3.5 times width of the middle part; 2) posterior pronotal process slightly surpassing the end of posterior femur; 3) without abbreviated carinae between humeral angles of pronotum; 4) wing surpassing the tip of pronotum; 5) posterior femur stout, 2.8 times longer than width; 6) body yellowish-brown, no obvious black spots in pronotum.
