寄生美国白蛾的啮小蜂一新种(膜翅目,姬小蜂科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS TETRASTICHUS (HYMENOPTERA, EULOPHIDAE) PARASITIZING FALL WEBWORM IN QINHUANGDAO, HEBEI PROVINCE, CHINA

记述了从美国白蛾蛹中养出的姬小蜂科啮小蜂亚科 1新种 ,即白蛾短角啮小蜂Tetrastichuslitoreussp .nov .。本种群集内寄生于美国白蛾蛹中 ,以老熟幼虫在寄主蛹中越冬 ,成蜂的雌雄性比为 5∶1。新种的模式标本保存于中国林业科学研究院昆虫标本馆。

This paper describes a new species of the genus Tetrastichus Haliday, 1844 (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) from Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province: Tetrastichus litoreus sp. nov. which is an endo-parasite of the pupa of the fall webworm, Hyphantria cunea (Drury) (Lepidoptera: Arctiidae), a major invasive defoliator in China. From one host pupa, six adult wasps (5♀♀,1♂) were reared. The species overwinters as mature larva in the host pupa. Type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Insect Museum of Chinese Academy of Forestry. Tetrastichus litoreus sp. nov.(Figs.1-10) Length: ♀ 1.6-1.8mm, ♂ 1.3mm. The new species is close to Tetrastichus hylotomarum (Bouche) 1834, but can be distinguished by the key below. 1.Body dark green, antenna with scape brown yellow, pedicel, funicle and club dark-purple-brown; temple very short and indistinct; scape not reaching median ocellus; mid-lobe of mesonotum with 8 adnotaular setae; scutellum as broad as long; male with all funicle segments bea\|ring bristle-like setae longer than the segments lengthTetrastichus litoreus sp. nov. 2.Body blue green, all antennal segments black; temple obvious, 0.15-0.20 times eye; scape extending to median ocellus; mid-lobe of mesonotum with 4-6 adnotaular setae; scutellum 1.15-1.20 times as long as broad; male with all funicle segments having setae normal, short, never longer than funicle own lengthTetrastichus hylotomarum (Bouche)
