在我国即将加入WTO的大背景下 ,针对目前高校英语教学不能适应入关后对人才需要的现状 ,应从教材教法、考试制度等方面加以改革 :课堂教学以双语教学为主要授课方式 ,课程教材使用英美原版教材 ,实行更为灵活的考试制度 ,使英语真正成为我们了解世界。

We should realize we are facing the situation that English teaching today in universities or colleges can't adapt to the need of the talented persons after we come into WTO.From teaching material and teaching method to exam system,the article sets forth the developing way for the future talented persons and the direction of the English teaching reform:The main teaching method in class is bilingual.It's better to use original English material in class.More flexible exam system should be carried out.We try to have English become our powerful tool that we can use to understand the world and grasp the latest knowledge well.\;
