贵美石是所有用于制作装饰品、艺术品和雕刻品的美术工艺矿物原料的总称。在本文中笔者建议将其划分为五大类和若干亚类,即宝石、玉雕石、彩石、砚石、观赏石及其亚类。
The Precious Beauty Stone is a general name of art and craft mineral materials usedto make the art wares,ornaments and carvings.The writer proposes to classify the precio-us beauty stones into five types and some subtypes.There are ①Gemstone,which is divide-d into precious gemstone and common gemstone;②Jadeware Stone,which is separated intojade stone and nonjade stone;③Multicolour stone,which includes sealstone and ornamentstone;④Inkstone,which has silicates and carbonatite,two subtypes;⑤Appreciation stone,which is divided into seven subtypes:crystal stone,fossilstone,formlike stone,picture ston-e,meditation stone,scenery stone and colour gravel.
