摘要
该文阐述地理信息系统技术的产生对地理学发展的影响 ,并通过对地理信息系统技术的特点与功能的分析 ,阐述其广泛的社会应用前景及其产业化基础 ,并分析地理信息系统产业发展存在的问题 ,就地理信息系统产业与市场开发提出建议。
Geographic information system (GIS) technology is an important tool in geography research and it can have a great effect on geography development, another important aspect is that GIS technology is an enormous potential market .This paper presents the application prospects and industrialization basis of GIS by analyzing the character and functions of GIS technology ,discussing the problems of GIS industry development today and giving some suggestions on GIS industry and its market development of China.
