试论外语教学的中心——以学生为中心还是以学习为中心

On the Focus of Foreign Language Teaching ——should it be learner-centredness or leaming-centredness

交际语言教学法被认为是目前教学法中最有效的一种 ,与此紧密联系的学生中心论也就成为衡量教师是否真正采取了交际法的标准。文中讨论了外语教学中两种原则产生的根源及其作用 ,分析了学生中心论存在的问题 ,认为学生中心论有失偏颇 ,阐释了外语教学应以学习为中心的观点。

Currently Communicative Language Teaching(CLT)is regarded ad themost efficient approach in Foreign Language Teaching(FLT),and tahe student-centredness prinple,which connects with CLT closely,becomes the unique way in judging whether the teachers adopt CLT approach or not in FLT.This paper presents the sources and effects of the two prinples, analyzes the problems in student centredness ,gets the conclusion that studentcentredness is not feasible and states the point that in FLT teachers should pay more attention to students'learningn the goal of FLT.
