晚清国家权力状况与现代化运动

The Power Condition of Late Period of Qing Dynasty and Modernization Movement.

西方国家的现代化是在排斥宗教势力、民族国家的中央集权加强的情况下 ,在统一的中央政权领导下展开的。而晚清的现代化运动恰好相反。它是随着地方势力的扩大 ,在地方势力的主导下展开的。这种由地方主导的现代化运动反过来又进一步影响到国家政权的稳定和统一 。

The modernization movement led by the unified central authorities in western countries happened under these background, the religious influence had been excluded and the centralication of state power in national countries had been streng thened. However, the situation in China is on the contrary. It happened with the development of local authorities' power and was led by the local authorities. The modernization movement led by them in China influenced the stability and unity of the state power. The interactive result had deeply effected influence to our modern society.
