高校思想政治工作者承担着对学生进行思想政治教育的重任 ,提高自身素质 ,是增强学生思想政治工作有效性的关键。为此 ,思想政治工作者提高自身素质 ,是一项十分紧迫的任务。要自觉加强学习 ,用各种新知识充实头脑 ,努力跟上时代的步伐 ;要适应新时代 ,更新观念 ,转换脑筋 ,进行创新的思维 ;要学习掌握马克思主义理论 ,坚定社会主义的理想信念 ,树立科学的世界观、人生观和价值观 ;要严格要求自己 ,自觉实践教师道德 ,以身作则 ,为人师表 ,以高尚的人格力量教育、影响、带动和感染学生 ,增强思想政治教育的效果。

The key to enhancing ideological and political work lies in improving the quality of the instructors,undertaking the task of educating students in this respect.thus it is imperative for such instructors to perfect themselves by active learning,arming them with new knowledge,keeping pace with the times thinking creatively in terms Marxist theory,sticking to socialist belief,setting up scientific world outlook,life values and moral values,and being strict with themselves,by means of which to educate,affect and impress students.
