摘要
汉代后妃所居之处被称为椒房,是因椒籽粒繁多,它蕴含着汉民族祈求生殖繁衍的文化意蕴。同时,还与椒的温暖、芳香和药用价值相关。
The imperial concubines dwelling place was called peper-house in Han dynasty. The reason for it is that the peper has plentiful seeds.The peper contained the productive meaning of Han nationality. In the meantime, it had something to do with the warmth form the peper, fragrance and medicine valure.
