In this article ,the authors review how teaching of the physical education has evolved over the past fifty years in China by looking at different stages of our physical education. Attention is also drawn to how the concept 'Health First' was raised and tentatively practiced as well as the argument. bewilderment and rethinking on the concept so that readers may intensify their understanding of the course Physical Education and Health.
