摘要
随着Internet/Intranet网络技术与多媒体技术的发展，多媒体远程教学系统呈现出数字化、智能化等新特点．在此介绍了多媒体通信网络、多媒体信息处理技术及VOD系统结合校园网实现远程教学及视频办公系统．
Abstract:As the development of the Internet/Intranet and the multimedia technology, the multimediaremote education has been showing new specific properties of digital and intelligence. In this paper,an introduction on multimedia correspondence, multimedia information processing technique andVOD system, as well as realization methods of multimedia remote education system are given indetail.
