摘要
孟子的性善论和荀子的性恶论各有其特定的人性概念内涵,既在理论形态上互相对立,又在逻辑意蕴上互相补充。立足于交往实践的唯物主义和历史的辩证法来考察和比较孟、荀的人性论,对于我们正确评价其理论得失和深刻反思当代中国人性与伦理道德问题具有重要意义。
Mencius' conception of human nature being essentially good has its specific conceptual content of human nature and so does Xunkuang's conception of human nature being essentially evil, each placing itself in opposition to the other in living attitude, supplementing each other in logical implication. After Qin and Han Dynasties, humanitarianism continued to develop mainly along the path to compromise Mencius' theory and Xunkuang's. Examining and comparing Mencius' humanitarianism with Xunkuang's according to the practical communicative materialism and historic dialectics is of great importance for judging correctly the gains and losses of their theories and deeply reflecting the present human nature and morality .
