The Getty Center in Santa Monica of California, U.S.A. is a famous place to experience, enjoy and research art. The master plan and architectural design were made by Richard Meier who is famous for his contributions to Modernistic Architecture. The Getty Center is draped over two hill ridges. Meier used squares and circles to complement and unite the assembly of one-of-a-kind buildings perfectly. It could be said the whole Getty Center was organized into a network of gratings. All the building's facades and the pavements are constructed with travertine from Bagni di Tivoli, Italy. The fascinating Central Garden was created by artist Robert Irwin and he thought it to be 'a sculpture in the form of an art garden' and ' It's a continual work -in -progress that changes with the seasons'. A path and a stream lead to an aquatic maze flowerbed with Rhododendrons in full bloom.
