In China the flood control plan is often worked out by water conservancy departments to assure the safety of flood discharge. On the basis of a real project, ecological flood control planning of Hutuo River in Shijiazhuang, the article discusses the flood control planning based on multi-disciplinary cooperation scientifically and reasonably. It also analyzes the ways of sustainable construction and development in the water front districts in China.
