Integrated LiNbO3 Acousto-optic Tunable Filter and It's Application in WDM Optical Network

针对基于LiNbO_3的集成声光可调谐滤波器(IAOTF)具有调谐范围宽、滤波带宽窄、调谐速度快、驱动功率低以及同时可实现多波长选择等优点,它在波分复用(WDM)光网络光插分复用(OADM)系统中具有广泛的应用前景。介绍了IAOTF的基本原理及特性,国内外发展状况和研究重点以及它在WDM光网络中OADM应用。

The LiNbO3 Integrated Acousto-optic Tunable Filters (IAOTF) are very attractive component as optical add/drop multiplexer (OADM) in wavelength division multiplexed(WDM) network because of their broad continuous wavelength tenability, narrow filter bandwidth, low drive power and multiwave-length filtering capability. In this paper, the principle of IAOTF, the research situation in overseas and domestic, and it's application in WDM network are introduced.
