On the Epoch Nature of Culture

不同的历史时代因其特殊的物质生产方式,使其文化具有特殊的性质,这就是文化的时代性。文化的时代性也即是文化的历史性。只有把握不同时代的物质生产方式,才能客观的认识其文化的时代性。

Because of special material mode of production in different historical times, culture has its particularity. This is the epoch nature of culture, that is to say, it is the historical nature of culture. Distinct era nature of culture can be understood objectively only when material mode of production of different epoch is held.
