In later stage of second world war,America,England and China wage struggles about Hong Kong's position.American government supported that China regain Hong Kong sovereignty after war.President Roosevelt made many diplomatic efforts about it.Great Britain refuse to forsake Hong Kong.Therefore,Jiang Kai-shek placed his hope on American's support.But,in the eve of the end of war,the cold war between the United States and Russia was emerge,the United States needs England's supports,abandoned the policy.In result,Great Britain reoccupied Hong Kong in end of war.
