摘要
强调有突出语义、增强语气的语言功能。作为语义的外壳或载体,在言语交际中语音自然具有非常显著的传情达意及增强语气的作用。本文主要从重读、语调、音长、停顿、音韵和拟声等几个方面对英语语音的强调手段进行了探讨。
Emphasis is one of many functions of language, which may strengthen the sense and intensify the tone. As the shell or carrier of meaning, speech sounds are naturally important means for emphasis. The phonetic expressive effect and emphasis is usually achieved by stress, intonation, length of sound, rhyme, and onomatopeia, etc. This paper has explored these phonetic means for emphasis in English.
