聚苯乙烯/高岭石纳米复合材料的制备与表征 被引量:4

摘要 高岭石是一种层状硅酸盐矿物,以二甲亚砜为前驱体制备有机高岭石,二甲亚砜进入高岭石层间,层间由亲水转变为疏水,层间表面能降低,苯乙烯单体分子插层进入高岭石层间,在加热条件下聚合,制得聚苯乙烯/高岭石复合材料。所制备的复合材料由X射线衍射、Fourier变换红外光谱、扫描电镜、透射电镜和热失质分析进行表征,证实所制备的复合材料为聚苯乙烯/高岭石纳米复合材料。 Kaolinite is a kind of layered silicate mineral. Polystyrene/kaolinite nanocomposites were prepared by using dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) as precursor. It is found that DMSO can be effectively intercalated into kaolinite after suitable treatment, which become hydrophobe from hydrophile in the layers, resulted in the decrease of surface energy in the layers. Styrene monomer can easily intercalated into the layers and polymerized by heating to finally prepare polystyrene/kaolinite nanocomposites. The prepared nanocomposites were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectrometry, thermogravimetric analysis, transmitting electron microscope and scanning electron microscope and are approved to be polystyrene/kaolinite nanocomposites.
