放电等离子烧结制备Ti_2AlC材料的研究 被引量:4

摘要 Ti_2AlC是一种具有优异综合性能的三元层状化合物。以元素粉Ti粉、Al粉、活性炭为原料,采用放电等离子烧结(spark plasmasintering,SPS)工艺制备出接近理论密度的单相Ti_2AlC块状材料。XRD和SEM分析结果表明:当Al含量为1.1 mol和1.2 mol,烧结温度在1100℃时,材料由单相Ti_2AlC组成,Ti_2AlC晶体发育完好,晶粒细小。研究表明:采用SPS工艺能够以比热压及热等静压低200~500℃的温度合成高纯Ti_2AlC致密材料。 Ti2AlC is a kind of ternary-layered carbide with excellent properties. It is reported for the first time that the dense bulk single-phase Ti2AlC material is synthesized by the spark plasma sintering (SPS) technology using the mixtures of Ti, Al and active carbon elemental powders as raw materials. XRD and SEM are used for the phase identification and the microscopic evaluation. The results show that the main phase in the product is fully crystallized Ti2AlC with small particle size when sintered at 1100°C with 1.1-1.2 mol Al as raw material. The density of samples is 4.10 g&middotcm-3. The synthesis temperature of using SPS is 200-500°C lower than that of using HP or HIP.
