FAST AND SELECTIVE NON-COMMUNICATION PROTECTION FOR RADIAL CONNECTED DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

摘要 迄今为止的无通道保护只适用于双端电源线路。对于单电源配电线路 ,由于无电源侧的保护和断路器不会动作 ,该保护失去了动作依据。针对这个问题 ,文中提出了无电源侧的故障检测原理和基于该原理的无通道保护方案。使用新保护 ,当有电源或无电源一侧的断路器首先跳闸后 ,另一侧的继电器将根据检测到的网络变量加速本端动作 ,从而将故障线路从两端切除。对于一个典型的开环系统的仿真研究表明 :所提出的无电源端的故障检测原理和保护方案是正确的 ;一个 6段线路的系统最长保护动作时间不超过 1 .5s。 Up to now, the non-communication protection is only suitable to the system with two sources. For the distribution line with only one source, the protection will lose the operation basis because the relay and the circuit breaker at the non-source end will not work. To solve this problem, this paper presents a technique to detect the fault from the non-source side, and then a new non-communication protection scheme is proposed based on the above technique. Within this scheme, when the circuit breaker at the source or non-source side of the protected line opens firstly, the one at the other side will sense the change of the system and accelerate action in order to isolate the fault from the both ends of the line section. Extensive simulation studies with respect to a typical open ring system show that both the proposed fault detecting technique and the protection scheme are correct; the maximum operation time for a system with six sections is less than 1.5 s.
