The theory of Robust PID and the implementation of RPID controller,which is developed by Honeywell Hi Spec Solution on TPS,are introduced. The loop temperature control and loop solid concentration control of 70kt/a polypropylene unit is set as an example. Robust PID performance is significantly better than regular PID.
