The Implications of Interactional Linguistics for Rhetoric Studies

近十几年来在国外发展迅速的互动语言学针对语言静态研究方法的缺陷 ,提倡通过对真实口头言语交际的动态分析 ,考察和研究人们日常真实互动过程中的语言使用情况 ,探讨语言结构及其运用模式与互动交流的相互影响。我们认为 ,“互动”有助于进一步理解修辞意义产生于表达者与接受者的互动过程中 。

Realizing that much of the 20th-century linguistic scholarshi p was sta tic and unnatural instead of dynamic and natural, interactional linguistics, whi ch has been developing rapidly in the last ten or so years, aims to offer a dyna mic analysis of real-life spoken language as it occurs in everyday interaction o n the basis of investigations into the interrelationship between linguistic res ources and conversational structures and that between interactional functions an d linguistic forms. This paper discusses the implications of interational lingui stics for rhetoric studies.
