摘要
据中央人民广播电台2003年5月20日报道,黄河在汛期到来之前出现建国以来最严重的缺水局面,沿黄8个省区将面临49亿立方米的水资源缺口。然而在现实生活中,却仍有不少人似乎并不知道水在人类生活中的作用,在我国面临水资源严重紧缺的情况下,仍在漫不经心地浪费和污染着这种稀缺的资源。唤起全社会的关注,治理水资源的浪费和污染,已成为刻不容缓的事情。
A serious shortage of water was reported by CCPBS on May 20, 2003, and according to the report 8 provinces along Yellow River faced the shortage of 4.9 billion cube metre water. Yet in our daily life many people are not aware of the severity of the problem, and waste of water is still a very common phenomenon. A call for saving water is urgently needed.
