对“关于我国核心期刊统一化的思考”一文中提出的两个观点进行质疑,并对核心期刊的内涵、《中文核心期刊要目总览》的缺陷、地位、作用以及与文献数据库的关系等进行了讨论。

The two viewpoints put forward in 'On the Appraisal Effectiveness of Core Journals' are queried. Meanwhile the connotation of core journals and the shortcomings, position and effect of A Guide to the Core Chinese Journals, and its relationship with databases are discussed.
