摘要
实地考察了5个澳大利亚卢莱恩(Lowline)牛育种场。该牛是专门化肉牛新品种,属典型的小型早熟种。来源于黑安格斯牛,经过30年培育,采用国际通用育种方法育成,其成年体格仅相当于原安格斯牛的60%～70%。本文从介绍该牛品种培育历程和品种特性,思考其育种经验,包括确定特色育种目标,把握目标持之以恒,结合生产、严格试验;严守法规、诚信为本。这些对于我国牛的育种工作亦有借鉴价值。
Lowline is a specialized beef breed bred in Australian, which is a small and early-mature type beef breed. Lowline origined from Angus, with a commonly used technical method for nearly 30 years, main body sizes of Lowline are just 60%～70% of those in Angus. Breeding process and breed characteristics of Lowline are introduced in this article , and experience we can get from Lowline breeding are that special breeding aims, sustainable breeding measures, combined with beef production, and so on, all of these will be valuable for beef breeding in China.
