This paper gives a method measuring the temperature of the roll covering with rubber by using infrared radiation thermometers. It emphatically approaches ad-justing and definiting the radianceεof infrared radiation thermometers, the auto-matic decision of rubber and roll, and the relation between practical value and measured value for the temperature of the roll.
