Rearing Small Tussah Larvae Within Bundles of Plastic Gauze

纱网罩把小蚕保护育技术能缓冲和调节网内小气候,使雅蚕始终处于微风和温湿度变化较小的适宜环境中,确保稚蚕正常生长发育。纱网罩起到防风、防鸟、防虫和防雨等作用,并且减少养蚕人员看管时间,保苗效果显著,春蚕保苗指数提高97.20％～107.28％,秋蚕保苗指数提高102.15％。

Rearing small tussah larvae within bundles of plastic gauze is adv- antageous in regulating microclimates to keep larvae in suitable envir- onment, which protects the laruae from injuries of wind,birds, insects and rain and shortens the labour of managers. Such a method increased the surviving index of larvae by 97.20%--107.78% in spring rearing and by 142.15% in autumn rearing. The cost of the gauze in not very high and it can by used for many years,hence the cort of tussah reariny may decrease. And the birds are also protected in order to keep ecological balance.
