本文对赤峰东部,科尔沁沙地南缘营造防风固沙农田防护林的技术及其对农业增产的生态经济效益,从单产及动力效益、热力效益、水文效益等多方面进行了全面论述。为以林木治理沙漠,扩大人类的生存环境,为农业在沙地上创造稳产、高产,大面积持续不断的丰收提供了有益经验。

The paper makes a comprehensive summing-up of the techniques used in establishing shelter-belt for protecting farmland and the benifits in agriculture inereasing in production brought by the shelter-belt.At the same time, the paper introduces some experiences in how to harness desert, enlarge the living environment of mankind, and in how to obtain continuously high and stable yields on the desert.
