讨论了C/S和B/S两种数据库模式的技术以及特点,比较了几种访问Web数据库的方法,提出了利用ASP(ActiveSeverPage)技术实现数据库访问的方法,从而说明ASP技术是更灵活、高效的实现访问和操作Web数据库的有效工具。然后提供了一个以Oracle作为后台数据源,以ASP连接并访问的例子以说明问题。

Discussed the patterns of database which are well known as Client/Server and Browser/Server. And displays the important meaning of Browser/Server to the development of Web database. ASP(Active Server Pages) is often used to visit and operate Web database more efficiently and nimbly. This paper also offers an example, which uses Oracle as back data source and uses ADO objects built in ASP, to show how to visit Web database.
