摘要
VTOA技术是当前国内外研究的热点 ,被看作是未来话音的主流技术。为解决 VTOA交换节点体系结构存在的模块划分以及支撑技术问题 ,从 VTOA技术入手 ,通过对 VTOA业务需求以及 AAL 2基本概念的讨论 ,分别对 VTOA交换节点体系结构组成、基于 STM和 ATM的 VTOA交换节点体系结构的相关问题进行了分析与研究 ,得出了两种不同的体系结构适用领域的简单结论。
Research in the area of Voice Telephony over ATM(VTOA) has been gaining momentum. VTOA is widely accepted as the main technology for voice telecommunication in the future. To solve the module division and based technology of VTOA, this paper begins with an overview of VTOA, and discusses the requirements for the VTOA services and principle of AAL2, with its focus on analysis and research of the modules of VTOA and the key technologies for STM based and ATM based switching node system architecture. Finally, the appropriate places of the two different proposed architectures are evaluated.
