Questioning on the Concepts of LiteratureTheory and Canon --Reading Jonathan Culler’s Literary Theory

从解读美国著名批评家乔纳森·卡勒的《文学理论》入手，理解卡勒对“文学”、“理论”、“经典”三个概念的阅读策略并与80年代影响中国最大的三本综述性的文学理论入门性教程作比较，卡勒的著作的相异之处是从探讨问题出发，并且将90年代文论的最新观点融入书中。在西方的新潮批评写作中，传统的文学、理论与经典诸观念都受到质疑与攻击，对这种现象产生的背景及批评界的现状进行全景式的描述将会很有价值。

 The dissertationbased on the reading the distinguished American critic Jonathan Culler’s literary Theory：A Very Short Introductioninterprets the author’s reading strategy of the three conceptsliteraturetheory and canon．To compare with the three comprehensive and introductory textbooks of literary theory which influenced China a lot in 1980’sCuller’s textbook distinguishes itself by probing into the problem at the first beginningand adds new ideas of literary theory in 1990’s into the book．In the contemporary critical writingsthe traditional concepts of Literaturetheory and canon are questioned and attackedso the dissertation makes a panoramic description of the phenomena’s background and the situation of the contemporary critic field．
