当今警校学员中独生子女已成为主体，其弱点为过分强调以自我为中心，缺乏集体主义精神和关心他人意识，不善于与他人的协作与交流。毕业分配有保障，待遇好，地位高，使一些人产生乐观情绪，不求上进，不思进取。针对这种惰况，公安院校学员管理工作者应采取严格管理与关爱教育相结合的办法，方能收到良好的效果。

The majority of the police students are the only children, whose shortcoming is over - emphasizing on themselves, short of collectivism spirit and consciousness of being considerate to others, not good at cooperating and com- municating with others. Some of them are optimistic and aren't eager to make progress because of their secure assign- ment. Administrators in police academies should make use of strict administration and loving care education to achieve a good effect in view of this situation.
