College Chinese and cultural quality education

《大学语文》课是高校面向文(除汉语言文学专业)、理、工、农、医、财经、政治、外语、艺术、教育等各类专业学生开设的一门文化素质教育课。课程设置的目的是加强人文教育。人文教育不只是语文教育，而语文教育占有特殊甚至核心的位置，因为语文的文学性对青少年更富有感染力，大学语文教育落实到人文教育上，能给人建立一种精神底子，能赋予学生的生命以一种亮色。

College Chinese is a course of cultural quality education meant for liberal arts(except for Chinese language and literature major), science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, trade and finance, politics, foreign languages, fine arts, and education majors, etc. The objective of this curriculum aims at the strengthening of humanities and culture education. Although humanities and culture education is not merely the teaching of Chinese, it takes up a special position and even a key one, because the nature of the Chinese literature appeals more to the younger generation. The teaching of College Chinese implemented from the viewpoint of humanities and culture education can set up a spiritual foundation for man enrich students’ life.
