TOURISM RESOURCES OF GUIGANG CITY AND SUGGESTION FOR EXPLOITATION

贵港市地处广西东南部 ,山地丘陵与平原交错 ,林木茂盛 ,自然景观类型多样 ,特色鲜明 ;贵港是座拥有 2 0 0 0年历史的古城 ,历史淀积深厚 ,人文景观与自然景观交相辉映。自改革开放以来 ,贵港市旅游业已有了较快的发展 ,在全区处于中等水平 ,发展潜力很大。今后贵港市应把旅游业作为经济发展中的一个新的经济增长点 ,积极发挥政府主导型的作用 ,主动与南宁、北海、梧州等地通力合作 ,争取在广西旅游业的腾飞中 ,取得较快的进展。

Guigang City is located in the southest part of Guangxi. There are mountains, hills, plains interlocking and forests growing. Guigang is an old city,with a history of more than 2000 years.It has a rich ancient civilization, and the physical and humane landscapes are mimgled brightly Since the opening and reform,the tourism industry of Guigang has been developing fastly and on the middle level in Guangxi,but the developing potentiality is great. In future,in Guigang City tourism industry will be taken as a new economic increasing point in the economic growth, the leading role of the government actively in cooperation with Nanning, Beihai, Wuzhou, etc.and the faster development of Guigang will be crowned in the leap forward of Tourism industry of Guangxi.
