摘要
在日常交际中,人们多喜欢用间接言语行为,其原因是多方面的.笔者认为主要有以下几个方面:(1)面子礼貌;(2)经济原则;(3)审美情趣;(4)和睦的人际关系;(5)难以穷尽的客观事态;(6)交际动态预设的无限性;(7)白色谎言.然而同时间接言语行为又为何不时造成误会呢?主要是由于每个人对间接言语行为原型概念的心理表征不一样所致.
In our daily verbal interaction, people prefer indirect speech acts to direct speech acts. The crucial reasons , the author argues, lies in the following aspects: face politeness, economic principle, aethetic pleasure, interpersonal rapport, indefinite truth, countless dynamic presuppositions and white lies. And meanwhile why do indirect speech acts now and then give rise to the misunderstanding between people, which is chiefly due to their different mental representations about the indirect speech act prototypes.
