摘要
利用EZW进行图像数据压缩一般的步骤是 :小波变换 ;零树量化编码 ;熵编码。为了提高压缩比和编码效率 ,本文提出了一种非常有效的编码方案。主要是 :利用零树量化编码后出现了许多连续的次要系数根这一特点 ,将熵编码与零树编码统一进行 ,一次完成 ,熵编码采用变长零游程方法。实验表明 ,图像经该方法编码后压缩比得到了提高。
The general steps to carry out image compression by using EZW are: 1.wavelet transform; 2.zerotree quantification coding;3. entropy coding. To raise compression ratio and coding efficiency, this paper proses an effective compression coding based on zerotree of wavelet coefficients .It mainly includes the simultaneous encoding of entropy and zerotrere,because many consecutive zerotree roots have appeared , in zerotree quantification codings. Entropy coding adopts run-length-changeablecoding.Experimental results show that encoding by this method can result in higher compression rations.
