In this paper,steckel mill and 6RA24 are introduced,a trial of an application of Siemens Full Digital DC Speed Conbroller 6RA24 on reeling machine is presented and some important technical taches in this project is also given.After being put into practice,the perfect performances of the system proves the revamp a success and also provide a good example for restructuring old system with new equipments.
